I am able to treat a wide range of psychological difficulties experienced by adults, couples, and adolescents. Here are some areas of expertise:

  • Adolescent issues: peer group difficulties, stress related to academic performance, anxiety over college acceptance, parent-child conflicts
  • Anxiety issues: excessive worrying, performance anxiety, panic attacks, fear of being in crowded places, fear of driving on highways or being in specific situations
  • Couples issues: communication difficulties, money issues, sexual issues, incessant arguing, infidelity and/or trust issues, divorce or abandonment issues
  • Mood problems: depression, bipolar disorder, not enjoying life anymore, excessive sadness, seasonal related depression
  • Personal growth: resolving childhood issues, increasing self awareness, improving self esteem
  • Post traumatic stress disorder: flashbacks of traumatic experiences from childhood or adulthood, inability to get certain memories out of your mind
  • Women’s issues: hormonal fluctuations, gender issues, peri and post menopausal issues, body image and self worth
  • Work difficulties: performance issues, job stability, career uncertainty, procrastination, difficulty prioritizing, difficulty with co-workers

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
  • Ego States Therapy: A therapy technique that looks at the inner workings of the mind. It helps people learn why they do things that often don’t make sense. It can heal emotional wounds from childhood and works well as an adjunct therapy with EMDR
