Staying centered during the coronavirus pandemic
We are living in very challenging times. Every day we are flooded with a new alarming statistic, a new health advisory, or horror story about COVID-19. Our lives have come to a screeching halt. Many of us are trying to work full time while home with our children. Others are worried about loss of income or getting sick.
If ever there was a time to practice being grounded and being peaceful it is now. As challenging as it might be, try to focus on what is good in your life and allow yourself to truly feel gratitude for it. It could be the good food that you have prepared, the beautiful spring flowers that are in bloom, or the fact that you can spend more time catching up with friends. Whatever it is, allow yourself to breathe deeply and take it all in.
There are funny videos on YouTube and hysterical memes on Facebook to help you smile and feel good. There are also a few other on line resources that I would like to share with you: Davidji Meditiations on Sound Cloud App. Nick Ortner, The Tapping Solution can be found on line. Other helpful resources are the Calm App, Hay House, and Tara Brach who has just put out a meditation for dealing with this current crisis. Remember, staying calm and positive, helps to boost our immune system. Wishing you all good health, peace and strength. Blessings to all of you.
